Overview
PLAYSTATE is a fictional interaction study. Instead of scroll-driven storytelling, every page is a state the visitor can pause, resume or step back through.
It explores whether media-player controls can replace navigation without confusing first-time visitors.
02
Creative challenge
Make controls the content, without hiding the content.
03
Concept and approach
Three states per page (play, pause, rewind) share one set of shapes. Focus order mirrors reading order so keyboard users stay oriented.
04 / Project details
Interaction: tap to toggle, arrow keys to step. Reduced motion shows the paused state by default.
05 / Deliverables
Interaction map, state library, prototype screens, motion spec
